THE STORY:

LOGLINE: A rape victim finds she now has scars that only she and other survivors can see.

SYNOPSIS: A classmate’s party offers a chance to relax with one’s peers and grow closer to a crush. But for Emily, what should have been a fun evening leaves her reeling from the trauma of a sexual assault. To her continued horror, her feelings of shame and violation manifest on her body as deforming scars. When she attends school the following Monday, she is confronted by the crushing and pervasive nature of consent issues and one small consolation: you are not alone.
